Barong and Keris Dance (cultural dance)
Barong and Keris Dance at Batubulan Village, the performance start at 9.30 am and finish at 10.30 am. The Barong play represent an eternal fight between good and evil spirit. A Barong (a mythological animal) represent good spirit and Rangda (a mythological monster) represent evil one. Balinese people also believed that the Barong is symbol of protector. Some of the most talented wood carvers on the island live in Mas, and in the workshop they can be found groups of young workers supervised by elderly men, busy selling away. Topeng masks, with their versatile range of expressions and personalities are also carved by the masters in Mas.
Mount Batur Volcano
Batur Mount Volcano, this places located in Kintamani District – Bangli Regency. Penelokan Village will be the best to view of the Batur Mount and Batur Lake. Batur Mount has eruption several time already, the biggest eruption was 1926 destroyed the Batur Village, this village it was near the lake and now they move to the top. In the inner courtyard there is clear slate-blue spring water bubbling up into it’s own enclosed rectangular pool through a sedimentary layer of black sand. In Balinese legend this spring water was created by Indra God when he fought with the Mayadenawa King. Gunung Kawi (valuable historical site)
Just two kilometers from Tampak siring is an ancient complex of rock hew temple hidden in beautiful valley. legend has it that they were carved by a giant using his finger nail. The impressive facades have no interior and served as memorial for deified royalty. There is also an extensive monastery with many Carved niches for holy men in the cliff face. The complex was established in the 11th century. Gunung Kawi Temple entrance ticket US$ 1.5/person.
